Jean John Quartet featuring Eivind Opsvik at the imminent diplomatic event meeting in Oslo!

It does not happen that you get to play and lead your own band every day for queen Sonya and king Harald of Norway and Slovenian president Borut Pahor! Last time I appeared with my quartet at the diplomatic event was in New York at the opening of honorary consulate in 2015 and I can tell you that however mildly you put it, it’s never easy to play to people of such stature! This will be an event for the books, as we will be playing for the entire Royal family of Norway, president of Slovenia Borut Pahor and ambassador of Slovenia for all 5 Scandinavian countries, Mr. Edvin Skrt. This one of a kind event will be held on 7th of November in Oslo and will feature two of my close friends, Ana Bezjak on vocals, Marko Churnchetz on piano and a special guest, incredible bassist, who has been living in New York for almost 20 years, Eivind Opsvik!
